It has occurred to me lately that my work has much to do with a new understanding of time. My work is greatly influenced by comic art or as Will Eisner called it “sequential art” meaning that comics are intended to show a sense of movement through time. My own approach keeps this in mind but when reviewing them, I am struck by the idea of “Time All At Once.” That in truth, time is an illusion we hold onto and that in the view of greater dimension and space, there is only NOW.

Also, in this period, I stepped up the size of the drawings so that the time it took to finish each one was extended. The size on most of these is 14” x 17”.
